Yesterday were announced the winners of the 3rd International Health Care Student Olympiad.

Altogether there were 9 teams from different Latvian higher education institutions and partner institutions from Finland, Poland and France. Each team demonstrated their skills in fields of anatomy, paediatrics, first aid and also used their adapting skills to show words in charades, dress up in relay and were brave enough to compete in this event!

We send our congratulations to each team which participated in the Olympiad. First place winners are team “Vienotā Sirdsritmā” from Rīga Medical College of the University of Latvia. Second and third places were taken by “Validus” from Rīga 1st Medical College and “Helping Voice” from Red Cross Medical College of Rīga Stradiņš University.

This day showed us that health care students are not only good future professionals in their fields but also that they are able to communicate in other language, overview situation and manage it in good manner.
